Oil Change Taylor MI

Of the many services we offer, one of our most common minor repair work is the oil change. It is recommended that you change your oil every 5,000 miles to keep the car in healthy condition. An oil change is when the mechanic empties the old motor oil and replaces it with fresh oil to lubricate the engine and keep it working properly. Over time, oil gets old and will no longer work as a lubricant which can negatively impact your car. As a result your engine may not survive as long as it could. This means that you might be spending lots of money to fix or replace your engine. We offer full service oil changes. This includes conventional oil, synthetic oil, and high-mileage oil. Conventional oil may also be called mineral oil. It is made from crude oil taken from the ground and then processed at an oil refinery. Conventional oil is the cheapest of the oils but doesn’t last as long. Synthetic oil is man-made. Therefore, it is created for the purpose of engine health. It has many benefits including: more effective at reducing friction, engine will last longer, and the oil flows through the engine easier. High-mileage oil is made to elongate the lifespan of high-mileage vehicles. This is recommended for vehicles with 75,000 miles or more, such as trucks. If you don’t know which oil your car should take, don’t worry. Our certified technicians will be able to help you figure out the best oil for your vehicle. Along with changing the oil and filter, we provide a routine maintenance check. Part of this maintenance service is checking all the fluids, including the transmission fluid, brake fluid, and power steering fluid. We top-off all these fluids except for the antifreeze or radiator fluid. We also do tire rotations and check the pressure of the tires. We also check the suspension. We also check the brakes and make sure the engine is up to date. Our routine maintenance check is beneficial because we can find problems with your car you might not have known about and fix them in a timely manner for your safety . We will let you know if we come across any problems during this maintenance check and talk to you about when you would like to fix them. Having regular oil changes will keep your engine healthy and keep your car in better condition.
